The Confedaration of Scientific and Technological Associations in Malaysia (COSTAM) is the national umbrella organisation of thirty-two professional, scientific and technological organisations.

COSTAM was inaugurated on June 20th 1980 and registered under the Societies Act 1966 on December 8, 1983. It is represented in the National Council for Scientific Research and Development (MPKSN), and holds an annual dialogue with the Minister of Science, Technology and the Environment who is also the Patron of COSTAM.
